Modern access control centers, the so-called Intelligent Data Terminals – IDT for short –
control and monitor doors, turnstiles, barriers, locks, elevators and roller shutters, etc.

The ID card readers record the identification features using RFID technologies such as a chip or ID card, using biometric features such as fingerprints or by entering a combination of numbers. The assigned permissions are managed in a database and can be flexibly changed or deactivated.

The access control system can be flexibly expanded using OSS-compatible electronic locking cylinders and fittings. Thanks to OSS Standard Offline, the locking rights for these offline components can be managed very easily in prime WebAccess, regardless of the manufacturer.
