In the future, lockers will be integrated into the Offline by OSS standard. Employees who use a locker during working hours thus have their own access for that period.
This allows employees to select a free locker at any time as well as their locker from a group of lockers defined for them. Once the cabinet is unlocked (and locked again) it is locked for others. The selection is made via a locking medium to be defined. After selection, the locking medium is blocked for all other operations. So, only the defined amount of cabinets or lockers can be selected.
And if the locking medium (a smart card or chip) is lost, a master medium helps to reopen the locker.
