OSS Standard Offline 2025-12 (Version 4.0) released

With Version 4.0 of OSS Standard Offline 2025-12, we have completed the formal alignment required for certification.

Across all documents, normative terminology (MUST, SHOULD and MAY) is now applied consistently. This is more than an editorial refinement. It provides clarity in implementation, reduces ambiguity in certification processes and strengthens interoperability across manufacturers and software providers.

Key updates include:
• OSS-SO Interface 3.0 (Part IV)
• Credential Version 1.3 data structure changes
• Improvements for ELS and software self-declaration
• DESFire and LEGIC neon updates

Clear requirements are the foundation for reliable standards and reliable markets.
